In today’s deeply partisan and often toxic political environment, it’s more important than ever for candidates to rise above division and genuinely represent all constituents. In my mind, choice is a basic right in a democracy. My initial reason for deciding to run was no other candidate stepped up to give voters in the 122nd a choice. I decided to be that choice.
As I’ve connected with people across the three towns in our district, I’ve encountered a troubling pattern: many feel their trust in local government and elected officials has been seriously eroded, leaving them feeling disillusioned and disconnected. I will work to find common ground and shared values to restore trust, promote civic engagement, and protect the unique qualities that make our district such a special place to live.
