Today is a significant milestone in this journey as the State Elections Enforcement Commission, also known as SEEC, has given its official approval to my campaign's application for the Citizens' Election Program. Securing full public funding for my campaign indicates strong backing from the public.
Thanks to all of you who have supported my campaign from the March meeting of the Stratford Democratic Town Committee when I wondered aloud why the State Representative in my district, a long-held Republican stronghold, didn't have a challenger in the November election. The support has come in many forms and from many relationships built throughout my life. I am grateful for an incredible network of friends and allies who understand why I decided to put my name forward and accept the endorsement and subsequent nomination for the 122nd Assembly District in Connecticut.
